Check out this cool video on De-extinction! DNA from extinct organisms could be used to bring them back to life. Even if some of their genome is missing these extinct creatures have living ancestors that have very similar DNA, which can be used as a template to fill in the missing pieces. However, De-extinction is more than just bring the organism back to life, but actually creating a breeding population that can sustain itself. Do you think we should be trying to bring the dinosaurs and other cool species back? Or should we focus on saving animals that are about to go extinct?
